COE '88, Taguig, Metro Manila Eugene has been an IT Consultant since 1992 from Database Administration, Programming to Business Analysis and Project Management. He worked in the Middle East – Doha Qatar for 4 years, immigrated to Canada in 1992, lived in the USA from 1996 to 1999 and moved back to Calgary in 1999. He is married to the former Gina Adriano of Taguig, Metro Manila and is blessed with 3 daughters – Angela, Shelly and Kylie. Eugene is the President of Mapúa Alumni Association – Alberta Chapter in 2008 and 2009. He agreed to continue to take on the torch and lead the Mapúa World 2011 in Calgary.

He used to work at BrodSis Machine Shop as a Mechanical Engineer in Manila and now runs his own company Solid Industries and Machine Shop. Ltd.
	2nd Vice Chairman / Gala Night Chairperson email me Jiggs Bascon P. Eng, B.S.C.E. ’80 (TOM Awardee) Bacolod City Jiggs is married to Ellen Guevarra with three children - Paolo, Jed and Eileen.  Prior to moving to Canada, he was a Project Engineering Manager of Stone and Webster, Saudi Arabia.  He was also a Project Engineer of Phinma Properties Holding Company, Philippines.  As a P.Eng. in the province of Alberta, he is presently with Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. as a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer.
	Venue and Accommodation Chairperson email me Dom Tolentino, B.S. EE '75 Dom is married to Josie Mariano with three kids - Sheila, Carol and Jerell. He has worked with companies in different parts of the world including Meralco (Philippines), Aramco (Saudi Arabia), Technip (Malaysia), Brown & Root (Singapore) and Shell (Brunei). He is presently working with SNC-Lavalin in Canada as a Snr. Electrical & Controls Specialist.
	Souvenir Program Chairperson email me Roger Encarnacion, B.S. EE '68 Rosario, Cavite Roger has been, at different times, a high school math instructor, a cadet engineer, a power plant design engineer, a pipeline design specialist, and during the last ten years, a self employed project electrical team squad lead at Jacobs Canada. He is married to the former Relinda Reyes of Rosario, Cavite, and is blessed with 2 daughters and a son (Gen, Angela, and Roger Patrick). Roger is the editor of the Mapuans Magazine and the MAAAC Newsletter. Additionally, he writes regularly for the Pinoy Times community newspaper in Calgary.
	Meet and Greet Chairperson email me Ritz Landeta, B.S. COE '87 Lipa City, Batangas Ritz Landeta, nee Librea, is married to Butch and blessed with two daughters, Arielle and Alyssa. She used to be a member of the MIT EE-ECE-COE faculty. She was a Systems Engineer at Right Computer Systems before immigrating to Edmonton, Canada. She currently works as an ERP Consultant at Discovery Solutions.
	Presentation and Entertainment Chairperson email me Marybeth Miranda , B.S.CE '84 Arevalo, Iloilo City Marybeth is married to Jeff Miranda with three children. She used to teach Engineering Mathematics at Mapua Institute of Technology. She also worked in the Philippines as Structural Design Engineer, Quality Controller and Estimator for various land development projects. Prior to moving to Calgary, she worked at Bristol Aerospace Ltd. At present she is one of the real estate agents at Discover Real Estate.

In the Philippines, he worked as a Systems Engineer for Sky Cable. He currently works at Walton International Group as Helpdesk Supervisor .

Arch '64 (TOM Awardee 2005) Nueva Ecija   Pepe is married to Melly Sabater with four children - Mark, Deo Alex, Rachel, and Maria.  Before immigrating to Canada, he was an Architect for NAIA. He currently works at Fluor Canada as a Senior Civil/Structural Designer and also owns Melly's Bakery Cafe in northeast Calgary.
	Website Chairperson email me Jeff Miranda, B.S.CE '91 Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro Jeff is married to Marybeth with three children - named Jorelle, Jouchelle and Junelle. In the Philippines he worked as a Quantitiy Surveyor for Davis Langdon and Seah International and then as Owner's Project Representative for Megaworld Corporation for the consruction of The World Center in Makati, Philippines. He currently works at Broadview Homes as Estimating Manager.
	Advertisement Chairperson email me Joel Purificacion, B.S. ECE '89 Joel is married to Laureen Pagaragan with two daughters - Franchesca Joy and Stephanie. Prior to his migration in Canada, he was with the IT-Telecommunications department of Arab National Bank in Saudi Arabia but subsequently returned for another opportunity to head the Telecommunications department of JADWA Investment. He currently works as a Network Analyst at Shaw Communications Inc.
